To address the thriving plastic industry in Southeast Asia, Star Standard Machinery has set up a regional office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to better serve clients in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. This move supports Malaysia’s National Green Technology Policy, which mandates recycling 50% of post-consumer plastic by 2027.
Strategic initiatives include:

Localized production: Partnering with Malaysian manufacturers to tailor compact crushers for small-scale recyclers, reducing logistics costs by 40%.

Training programs: Aligning with China’s Belt and Road Green Development Initiative, organizing technical seminars to educate partners on effective plastic waste management.

Government collaboration: Securing approval under Indonesia’s 2025-2030 Plastic Waste Reduction Roadmap, enabling tariff exemptions for imported machinery.
